PRINCIPAL'S ADDRESS:

Welcome to Our Lady of Mercy Secondary School website. We sincerely hope that your visiting our site will provide you with all the information you may need about our school.
Our present school was established in 1965 by the Sisters of Mercy , who have being educating and caring for young women in Waterford since 1900. We now operate under the trusteeship of CEIST and while we are an all-girls Catholic school, we do welcome students of all faiths into our community.
We aim to provide a considerate atmosphere in which each student is encouraged to reach their full potential, develop a positive self-image and strive for academic excellence. We also have a very proud tradition of fostering both extra -curricular and co-curricular activities. These activities range from basketball to camogie and from enterprise to musicals.
Our web site cannot tell the complete story but we hope that it does give the picture of a happy, caring and productive school community that is “The Mercy”.
Thank you for visiting our site and if you do not find what you need on this visit please do not hesitate to contact us.
